Getting Started Guide

Welcome to Aitium

Aitium is an Amazon marketplace intelligence and forecasting platform that helps sellers optimize their business through data-driven insights. Built on AWS, it provides automated data ingestion, advanced analytics, and AI-powered forecasting powered by Amazon Forecast.

This guide walks you through initial setup and your first steps on the platform.

Prerequisites

  • An active Amazon Seller Central account
  • An Aitium subscription (via AWS Marketplace or Stripe)
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)

Step 1 — Create Your Account

  1. Navigate to the Aitium sign-up page.
  2. Register with your email address and create a password.
  3. Verify your email using the confirmation code sent to your inbox.
  4. Choose a subscription plan — Business or Enterprise — through Stripe or AWS Marketplace.

Step 2 — Authorize Amazon Seller Central

  1. After logging in, navigate to the Account page.
  2. Click Authorize for each marketplace region you sell in (North America, Europe, Far East).
  3. You will be redirected to Amazon Seller Central to grant Aitium access via the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API).
  4. Once authorized, Aitium automatically begins a 720-day historical data backfill using the Amazon DataKiosk API.

Step 3 — Wait for Data Ingestion

After authorization, Aitium performs the following automatically:

  • Sales & Traffic Data — 720 days of historical data ingested via Amazon DataKiosk GraphQL queries, processed asynchronously through Amazon SQS.
  • Inventory Data — FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) and MFN (Merchant Fulfilled Network) inventory snapshots collected via the SP-API Reports API.
  • Buyer Intelligence — 730 days of order and buyer data backfilled in 30-day chunks using the SP-API Orders API.

Initial ingestion typically completes within a few hours depending on your catalog size. Once complete, daily rolling updates keep your data current.

Step 4 — Explore Your Dashboard

With data loaded, you can access:

  • Sales Reports — Revenue, units sold, and order metrics by ASIN and date range.
  • Traffic Reports — Page views, sessions, and session percentages.
  • Conversion Reports — Unit session percentage and conversion trends.
  • Inventory — Current FBA and MFN stock levels with historical tracking.
  • Forecasts — AI-powered sales and inventory predictions using Amazon Forecast.

Step 5 — Invite Your Team (Optional)

  1. Go to Organization Management from the sidebar.
  2. Send invitations to team members by email.
  3. Invited members inherit your subscription tier and marketplace access automatically — no separate SP-API authorization required.

Daily Operations

Once set up, Aitium runs automatically:

  • An Amazon EventBridge scheduled rule triggers daily data refreshes (rolling 30-day window for sales and traffic, daily for buyer data).
  • Reports are processed asynchronously and stored in Amazon S3.
  • Forecasts can be launched on demand or scheduled via AWS Step Functions.
